About the event
Join Dana Stein, owner of Native Loom Goods and textile artist, weaver, and herbalist for a beginner-friendly folk weaving workshop rooted in tradition and memory.
We’ll learn rag rug twining, a practice passed down through generations—born of pioneers who carried what they could and wove worn cloth into rugs for new homes.
Like drying herbs for winter, nothing was wasted.
This class is perfect for folks with fabric stashes ready to be used again.
Each participant will learn to weave and take home a 12"x12" handmade cedar loom—something sturdy, simple, and meant to last.
No experience necessary.
